Our response to COVID-19 and current protocols
as per regulations from the Grey-Bruce Health unit, masks must be worn indoors. However, masks are NOT required to be worn during Yoga class while on your mat.
Metta has always prided itself on the highest standards of cleanliness, but we are taking extra precaution with additional cleaning/sanitizing especially with high traffic areas
in the studio space you will find specified markings for mats to maintain required distance. Indoor classes will be capped at 9 students.
Pre-registration (website —> live schedule) is required. Please be mindful and cancel your registration if you are no longer attending. Failure to do so within 4 hours of class will require a $10 no show fee or a class off of your current pass. Through our registration page you will be asked a series of questions, please read carefully to insure awareness of our policies/expectations.
please arrive no sooner then 10 minutes before class to allow the previous class to exit and the studio space to be cleaned and set up again.
props that are required for class will be provided. If you have your own or require something extra (i.e. an extra blanket) please bring your own. Each mat space will be supplied with it’s own sanitizing supplies for balls/blocks. Note that blankets/straps/bolster covers are washed after every use, for this reason, if you have your own please bring.
Please read to ensure you are aware
UPDATED CANCELATION POLICY EFFECTIVE Feb 19 | 2021
Trust us Yogis, this is not the way we want to spend our time- enforcing these policies. Hopefully in time we can ease up on things and group yoga classes can be more of a come and go at the drop of a dime event- that is definitely more my style :) For now we thank you so much for your consideration and understanding as we navigate small business life through a world pandemic xo
• class reservations must be cancelled 4 hours before class start time to avoid penalty
• failure to do so will result in a class off of your pass or a $10 fee to be sent via etransfer
• class cancelations MUST be made by the registrant via the link in your confirmation email you received when registering (this means you need to insure you input the correct email address- the one you use and check regularly-so you receive it) phone messages or emails will not suffice as it is too much back office administrative work to make the cancellation- and truthfully we are already doing enough laundry to be a full time...launderist... ?:|
• repetitive registration/cancelations (3x or more in a week time frame) will unfortunately be prohibited from registering for classes for one whole week and will be cancelled out of all future classes
