Sue's Story

Yoga has been a part of my life for many years and has strengthened my body, mind and spirit. Yoga compliments my personality in that it is a deeply accepting practice allowing me to work within my energy level and my body’s capabilities.  I can practice yoga, on my own, anywhere any time or take a class and absorb the energy of others in the room.


I love being in a class with my eyes closed and hearing everyone breathing.  When I hear someone inhale a deep belly breath then exhale, shaking off everything except the present moment, is when I know the magic of yoga is happening in them.


I completed my 200 hour teacher training with DevaTree School of Yoga and my Yin Yoga Module 1 teacher training with Alina Calinescu in 2013.   I like eclectic classes blending asanas (postures) for strength, stamina, flexibility and balance with a little flow accompanied by pranayama (breath work) and meditation.  Something for everyone!
